Saving Grace Equine Rescue was started in 2000 to help horses and ponies in need.  It is named after a sweet mare who unfortunately did not live through her horrific starvation ordeal. This mare, Gracie, gave me the incentive to help equines and the people involved with them.
What we do is place neglected, abused, old or unwanted horses and ponies into new, loving,
permanent homes. Anyone is free to call if they need help  placing a horse in a new home or if they know of a horse or pony in a bad situation that needs our help.
Saving Grace is working out of the Campbellville area, directly in the heart of a large equine population.  As running a horse rescue takes a lot of time, committment and effort, we are often short on funds, supplies and volunteers. If you would like to assist us in any way possible be it from donating a bag of feed to just telling people about our rescue and our cause, it would be HUGELY appreciated by both ourselves and our rescued horses!

Saving Grace Equine Rescue is now in the process of becoming a registered not-for-profit
organization! Once this occurs we will be able to issue "donation receipts" for your tax purposes.
We shall keep you updated on our journey through the underworld of "the Government!!"
