The Lost & Found Horse Rescue Foundation, Inc. (L&FHRF) has successfully placed more than 500 horses, averaging 100 per year since 1997. We handle several horse breeds along with ponies, donkeys and mules for possible adoption.

Whether they come by way of neglect, auction or donation, our mission remains clear and constant: Working to educate horse owners, legislate the humane treatment of horses everywhere and find homes for abused or neglected equines of all descriptions.

Our barn is full to the gills with wonderful horses who need new homes. We are desperate for some help with foster care until we can find adopters for our horses. If you, or anyone you know, could provide competent foster care for a rescue horse, please, please, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. We appreciate any and all help with caring for these special animals. And as an added bonus, please note--your assistance may be tax deductible.
