We offer a unique and quiet experience on our 111 acres atop the highest point in the Northumberland with a panoramic view of Lake Ontario and the towns of Cobourg and Port Hope. At night you can even see the lights of Rochester.
It makes no matter if you enjoy riding your horse or walking the trails, playing tennis or a pickup game of basketball or just relaxing. We offer you the peace and silence many look for but fail to find. As an added bonus the food is excellent and the hosts are most willing to meet your every needs.

Cobourg is only 10 minutes away where you can enjoy the sandy beaches of Lake Ontario. Port Hope is only 20 minutes away where you can browse through the small unique shops. If you enjoy fishing, Rice Lake is within 15 minutes of the Inn. In the evening Cobourg has numerous fine eating establishments available. In the summer, the Park in Cobourg host evening concerts. In the fall, enjoy brisk walks through the woods enjoying the true colors of nature. In the winter, enjoy a brisk cross county ski route or bring your snowmobile and enjoy the groomed trails of the forest.

If you are traveling without your horse, or would like a horse experience, please contact us.

Just one hour away from Toronto.

From Highway 401 (MacDonald-Cartier Freeway) take exit #474; go north on County Road 45 to the village of Baltimore where you will take the Harwood Road (Hwy. 15), travelling past the residential area. A short way along this winding country road, you will come to Alnwick Hill Road, turn right and follow up to the top of the hill and High Pointe Inn & Equestrian Centre. Enjoy!
